Tiffany Mauldin Remembered After Fatal Late-Night Highway 52 Head-On Crash In Stanly County
Tiffany Mauldin, 34, died after a two-vehicle head-on crash on U.S. Highway 52 near the Northeast Connector in Albemarle around 11 p.m. on May 27, 2026.
The report, published May 28, 2026, said Albemarle officials identified Mauldin as the driver traveling northbound before the vehicle crossed the center line and struck a southbound vehicle.
Emergency crews responded to the scene, where Mauldin was pronounced deceased, while the other driver received hospital care for serious injuries.
