Tijo Jose tragically lost his life on Tuesday, March 24th, in a car accident on Huntly-Fosterville Rd, just six minutes from his workplace, leaving family, friends, and the local community in profound grief.
At only 34 years old, Tijo was a devoted husband to Anju Thomas and a loving father to their one-month-old son, whose lives have been deeply impacted by this sudden loss.
Known for his warm smile and down-to-earth nature, Tijo spent recent years dedicated to the disability sector, earning the love and respect of his clients through his compassion and tireless care.
Friends and family expressed their sorrow online, with Subin Joseph sharing that Tijo’s life was “a constant example of kindness and service,” and asking the community to support his young family during this unimaginable time.
After years of hard work, Tijo and Anju had recently celebrated receiving their Permanent Residency and were preparing for a hopeful future with their newborn, a dream now tragically interrupted.
A fundraiser has been established to assist with repatriating Tijo to Kerala, India, and to support Anju and their child with immediate living expenses. Friends and community members continue to share their condolences and prayers for the family.
