Vincent Van Zutphen, president of Zutphen Contractors in Mabou, Nova Scotia, tragically passed away on Saturday in a helicopter crash in New Brunswick.

He was the sole occupant of the aircraft en route from Fredericton to Sussex when the accident occurred, according to search and rescue officials.

A passionate entrepreneur and adventurous soul, Vincent was also training to become a helicopter pilot, pursuing his love for flight with determination and enthusiasm.

He was widely recognized in the dirt biking community for his long-standing support of the Nova Scotia Off Road Riders Association, including providing land for the Craigmore Ride Park in Cape Breton.
