Jacob Alan Burger, a cherished son, brother, and grandson, passed away on May 9, 2025, at the age of 28 in Kokomo, Indiana.
Born on February 7, 1997, Jacob’s warm personality and adventurous spirit brightened the lives of all who knew him. Surrounded by his loving family, he left this world far too soon, leaving a profound hole in their hearts.
Jacob was a proud graduate of Eastern High School in Kokomo, where he was an integral part of the marching band’s drumline. His passion for music resonated throughout his life, creating lasting connections with those around him. After high school, Jacob furthered his education at Hobart Welding School, leading to a successful career as a welder.
Jacob’s family was the center of his world. He is survived by his parents, Renee Perry and Jason Burger, his brother Jarett Burger, and his grandparents Russell Ricks, Truman Burger, and Darlene Burger. Jacob was preceded in death by his grandmother Vianna Ricks and grandfather Willie Perry.
Those who knew Jacob remember him for his infectious laughter, boundless energy, and selfless nature. His sense of humor and his genuine care for others made him a beloved friend and confidant.
