Madison Taylor Childress, Beloved Mother and Nurse, Passes Away in Tragic Automobile Accident in Crossett, AR

Madison Taylor Childress, 28, of Hamburg, Arkansas, tragically passed away on Friday, July 4, 2025, in Crossett due to a fatal automobile accident.

Born on July 12, 1996, in Texarkana, Texas, Madison was a lifelong resident of Hamburg. A dedicated mother and aspiring nurse, she had recently graduated with a Licensed Practical Nurse degree from South Arkansas Community College in El Dorado in May of this year.

Madison was a cherished member of the Fellowship Baptist Church and worked for six years as a Certified Nurses Aid at The Pillars of the Community in Crossett. Her love for nursing and caring for others was evident in her work, and she touched many lives during her time in the field.

She leaves behind two daughters, Addisyn Breann Childress and GraceLynn Jo Sivils, her parents Thomas and Monica Bankosh Vail of Hamburg, and Jason and Jennifer Buchanan of Alvin, Texas.

Her love of the outdoors and spending time with her family and friends was central to her life. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Jesse and Diane Vail, Jo Buchanan, and two uncles.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 7, 2025, at the Promise Land Cemetery Pavilion in Hamburg, Arkansas.
