Danilo Sabilao—The Sabilao family is mourning the sudden loss of their beloved brother Danilo, who passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 8, 2024, following a medical procedure. His sister, Yolanda Ybarra, shared that Danilo had undergone thoracentesis, a procedure to remove fluid from the area between the lungs and chest wall due to chronic kidney failure. Sadly, after the procedure, Danilo went into shock, and it was later revealed that an organ may have been punctured during the process, leading to his passing.
Yolanda expressed deep sorrow as she also shared the tragic passing of their aunt, Luning Sabilao, on the same night. Luning passed away in her sleep, leaving the family devastated by the loss of two loved ones within hours.
The family, relying on faith during this trying time, is now seeking help to cover the expenses of sending Danilo and Luning to their final resting place in the Philippines. A fundraiser has been created by Yolanda to support funeral and burial costs. So far, $50 has been raised out of the $4,000 goal, with a generous donation from Lucy Yanez.
