Audrey Elizabeth Welch, Beloved Mother and Daughter, Passes Away at 22 in Swanton, MD
Audrey Elizabeth Welch, a cherished member of the Swanton community, tragically passed away on March 22, 2026, at the age of 22. Audrey's family and friends are left heartbroken by the untimely loss of someone who touched the lives of many.
Audrey is survived by her parents, Michael David Warnick, Jr. and Jennifer Josephine Warnick (Elkins), her husband Joey Welch, and her young son Hudson Welch. Her siblings Kearstin Warnick, Brett Warnick, and Josie Warnick also mourn her loss. Audrey’s love for her family was evident in everything she did, and her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
She was predeceased by her grandfather, Norman Elkins, and her aunt, Dorothy Elkins. Audrey’s passing leaves a deep void in her family, but their memories of her kindness, joy, and warmth will carry on.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Smith Funeral Home in Keyser, WV. The funeral service will follow immediately at 1:00 PM.
