The Dublin community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of 18-year-old Foster Old, who tragically passed away in a car crash on Christmas night, December 25th, 2025.

Foster was driving eastbound on Moore Road in Concord Township when the accident occurred at approximately 7:18 p.m. While attempting to navigate an intersection at State Route 745, Foster’s Subaru BRZ collided with a Chevrolet Tahoe driven by 22-year-old Austin Hall from Delaware.

The impact of the crash was severe, and Foster was pronounced dead at the scene.

Austin Hall and his passengers survived with non-life-threatening injuries. Ohio State Highway Patrol confirmed that neither drugs nor alcohol played a role in the tragic accident.

Foster’s unexpected death has left a profound void in the hearts of those who knew him. He was described as a warm, vibrant young man who had much ahead of him. His family, friends, and community are now left to cope with the loss of a bright future taken far too soon.

Messages of support have flooded social media, with one friend, Sarah Edwards, writing, "Foster had a way of making everyone around him smile. We will miss him so much."

The Old family plans to announce funeral details at a later time, and the community continues to mourn the loss of a young life gone too soon.
