Joshua E. Collins, 47, Of Clayton Remembered After Late-Night UTV Rollover Near Highway 24 In Adams County
Joshua E. Collins, a 47-year-old Clayton resident, died shortly after midnight on May 25, 2026, after a UTV rollover near Highway 24 and West Main Street.
Adams County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrived around 12:48 a.m. and found an overturned utility terrain vehicle with Collins as the only occupant.
Emergency crews responded quickly, and officials pronounced Collins deceased at the scene.
The Adams County Coroner’s Office confirmed the identity, and Coroner Scott Graham said officials continue to review the exact cause of death.
Early reports said Collins did not wear a helmet or use a seatbelt during the ride.
Officials said no other vehicles or people were involved in the single-vehicle rollover.
Friends and neighbors in Clayton remember Collins as a familiar community presence whose passing brings deep sadness.
