Mahamadou "Mo" Tano Remembered After Sudden Passing At 43 While Working As Valet Manager For Hotel ZaZa In Houston
Mahamadou "Mo" Tano, known as Mo, passed away at 43 while working as the Valet Manager for Hotel ZaZa in Houston, Texas.
A fundraiser created on Sunday, May 31, 2026, by Patrick Fisher had raised $3,020 toward a $50K goal through 13 donations.
Rockbridge and Hotel ZaZa pledged to match each contribution dollar for dollar up to $50,000 to support Tano’s spouse and three children, ages 5, 7, and 13 months.
Colleagues remembered Tano as a devoted family member, valued teammate, and trusted friend whose kindness, generosity, hard work, optimism, and commitment enriched many lives.
The campaign described Tano’s service, dedication, and steady pursuit of excellence as qualities that reflected the values of Rockbridge and Hotel ZaZa.
