Patience "PayPay" Wimberly, a cherished young soul from Douglasville, GA, tragically passed away on the morning of Saturday, March 28th, 2026, in a devastating car accident on Chapel Hill Road.

Patience, known for her vibrant personality and radiant smile, touched the hearts of all who knew her. Described by family and friends as a "firecracker," she was a beacon of light in any room. A proud student of Chapel Hill High School, she carried the legacy of Langston Hughes in her heart, a testament to her deep connection to literature and culture.

Although Patience faced health challenges, including battling kidney issues, her family finds solace in the belief that she has now been healed. She had been preparing to embark on the next chapter of her life, full of promise and potential. As she had hoped to walk across the stage in May, the family now takes comfort in knowing that she walks in God's presence.
