In a heartfelt tribute, Derrick’s girlfriend, Karen Marcial-Segura, and his mother, Ja-Nice Cunningham, have shared their grief with the world. The family is currently facing financial burdens while preparing for Derrick’s funeral, memorial, and transport back to his hometown of Birmingham, Alabama, where he will be laid to rest. A fundraiser has been launched to help cover the expenses, with the goal of raising $40,000.
