Allison Suzanne Chew, Beloved Daughter and Sister, Passes Away at 28 in Floyds Knobs, IN
Allison Suzanne Chew, a cherished daughter, sister, and friend, tragically passed away on March 13, 2026, at the age of 28 in Floyds Knobs, Indiana. Her untimely death has left family, friends, and the community in mourning.
Born on January 24, 1998, Allison was known for her kind heart and unwavering love for those around her. She is survived by her parents, Michael Don Chew and Janelle Suzanne Chew (Schuler) of Borden, Indiana, along with her siblings, Ryan Chew, Brooke Schmelz, and Eric Chew. She was also adored by her nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In addition to her immediate family, Allison was predeceased by her grandparents, Allen Schuler, Don Chew, and Kay Chew, but is remembered fondly by her surviving grandmother, Janet Schuler.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a visitation on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Service in New Albany, Indiana. A funeral Mass will follow on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Saint Mary's of Navilleton in Floyds Knobs.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to The Liam Foundation for POLG research, an initiative close to their hearts.
Allison’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her, and her legacy of love, kindness, and compassion will continue to inspire all who were touched by her presence.
