Jonathan Pameolik, Beloved Husband, Father, and Hunter, Dies in Tragic Snowmobile Accident

Jonathan Pameolik, a loving husband, father, and grandfather, tragically passed away in a snowmobile accident on March 24th, leaving his family and friends devastated.

Known for his caring nature and deep connection to the outdoors, Jonathan was a passionate hunter who cherished the peace and thrill of the wild tundra. His family—his wife Geraldine, four daughters, and granddaughter—are now grappling with this sudden and heartbreaking loss.

Dorothy St John, a close friend, organized a GoFundMe campaign to support the family with funeral costs, urging the community to honor Jonathan’s memory. "Jonathan was the first to listen and the last to leave," St John wrote in the fundraiser's message. "His love and generosity touched everyone who knew him."

Online condolences have poured in, with friends and family offering prayers and support during this incredibly difficult time. "By God’s mercy, may he rest in peace; by our love, may his family find comfort," said one supporter.

A memorial service is being planned, with further details to be announced. Jonathan’s legacy of kindness and love for his family and nature will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
