Kevin Gomez Remembered After Being Found In A Wooded Area In Kansas City Kansas On May 16 2026
Kevin Gomez, 17, passed away on May 16, 2026, after Kansas City Kansas Police Department found Kevin unconscious in a wooded area around 11:00am and pronounced Kevin dead at the scene.
Authorities continue to review the circumstances, and the family expects more information after contact with a detective on May 16, 2026.
Kevin was the youngest sibling in a family of seven and leaves behind mother Margarita Felix, father Juan Gomez, four living brothers Ismael, Jose, Giovanni, and Ivan, and sister Samantha.
The family also continues to grieve the unexpected passing of Alex Gomez on November 04, 2023.
A fundraiser created on May 18, 2026, by Juan Gomez has raised $586 of a $20,000 goal through 11 donations to help with funeral service, burial or cremation, and memorial arrangements.
