Sean Weckhorst, 36, Tragically Dies in Motorcycle Crash in Pierce County, Washington
Sean Weckhorst, a 36-year-old resident of Graham, Washington, tragically lost their life in a fatal motorcycle crash on Sunday night, March 29, 2026, in south Pierce County. The collision occurred around 1:15 a.m. on State Route 7 near 240th Street East.
According to the Washington State Patrol, Sean was traveling southbound when the crash occurred, involving a 20-year-old driver from Yelm attempting a U-turn from the center turn lane. The impact brought both vehicles to a halt at the intersection.
Sadly, Sean suffered multiple blunt force injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Pierce County Medical Examiner. The driver from Yelm sustained injuries and was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital for treatment.
The incident, which caused State Route 7 to be closed for approximately four hours, remains under investigation.
